Remember the other week when I created Spicy Naked Breakfast Burgers?  And when I first made them I {stole} borrowed one of Jimmy’s frozen Trader Joe’s turkey burgers?  While that meal was extremely delicious and excellent for a frozen turkey burger, I wanted to create my own burgers to freeze and thaw whenever I wanted. 

I ended up making them yesterday on my day off, and I JUST finished chowing down on one for breakfast this morning and decided I needed to share it with you all before heading out to work. 

All you’ll need is a few basic ingredients {makes 4 burgers}:

1 lb of lean ground beef {or any ground meat will do}
1/8-1/4 cup of chopped red onion
1 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of onion powder
1 tsp of chopped parsley
1 tsp of chopped rosemary {both fresh from my garden}
1 tsp of ground black pepper
1 tsp of kosher salt
1 Tbsp of Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

1.  Combine ingredients in a bowl and mix and mash with your hands {mix and mash? how else do you describe that?}

2.  To make the patties, roll the meat into 4 separate balls, make sure they are all about the same size, then flatten into patties {there’s really no way to appropriately explain how to make burger patties, is there?}

3.  Then use parchment paper and a gallon size Ziploc bag to stack and store the patties in the freezer.

4.  Use the burgers however you want, but for breakfast you can always use the Spicy Naked Breakfast Burger recipe linked above.

So freakin’ good, you don’t even understand.  Making your own burgers is the way to go…
